Parts are all "Field" serviceable. No permanent high pressure clamps needed, pump motor can be swapped out in minutes, quick disconnects also make everything a snap to replace.
If hose is accidentally crushed or cut, unit can be instantly repaired on the jobsite with a simple screwdriver and a few new clamps. No specialized equipment service company required. No specialized repair knowledge required. No specialized replacement parts required.
Off the shelf, low cost replacement parts are widely available anywhere in the United States and Canada. No "specialized order parts" means your equipment is always working to make your business money.
Reduce maintenance repair downtime - Increase customer satisfaction.
Quick disconnect hose shown here can be quickly removed from the tank to transfer sealer into pails too!
Basket filters out unwanted debris and can be easily removed for cleaning with a simple garden hose.
Basket filter design allows for even distribution of product flow within tank. (similar to dishwasher design) Sealer is pulled out from the bottom tank valve and reintroduced into the sealer tank at the top. Pump impeller blades further grinds and mixes sealer as it is introduced into the pump before circulation occurs. Our high powered 5.5 OHV HP pump (shown below) creates much desired blasting turbulent forces during the circulation mode at a powerful rate of 150 gallons per minute!. That means you are can circulate the entire contents of the 275 gallon tank in only a few minutes!
Still Think Sweep Agitators Work Better ?
Similar 300 gallon metal tanks with sweep agitation blades mostly move the product contents near the outside walls of the storage tank. The heavy paddles usually rotate very slowly and are driven by cumbersome gears, chains, and pulleys. The product near the center of the tank may never even get mixed at all !
To observe this, try this revealing experiment:
First take a can of paint, secondly take a paint stir stick. Now stir the contents using the stir stick only along the inside edge of the paint can slowly. Try to emulate the speed of a paddle moving around the inside of a storage tank What happens to the contents in the center of the paint can? Hardly moves or mixes at all doesn't it?!
The stir stick in this demonstration behaves much like a sweep agitator blade moving inside a cylindrical storage tank.
The high volume mixing action maintains a better and consistent mix for your customers. You never have to worry about product quality. You get the job done right the first time.
Customer F.A.Q - What are the Dimensions Of This Tank?
These containers have metal skid plates for easy movement with a forklift (see illustrations) The 275 gallon tank can be easily mounted on a trailer or pickup truck for field or may be used for portable use. They are usually secured by using "U" bolts that are attached around the skid plate and then the nuts are fastened through the underside of the trailer.
Dimensions of the tank are:
Generally speaking this is a 4X4X4 Cube.
Measuring The Top Horizontally Front to Back = 48 inches
Horizontal Side Width = 36.5 Inches Overall Vertical Height =46 Inches
Customer F.A.Q. - Can I use Sand?

Sand, like any abrasive will deteriorate ALL equipment it is used in. Sand in nature causes natural erosion to the environment. Sand is commonly used for sandblasting paints and concrete surfaces. Sand is used in sandpaper for the purpose of wearing away surfaces.
The question is not WILL sand wear out spray equipment but
WHEN it will wear out
spray equipment. The fact that one spends
$1,200 or $18,999 on spray equipment does not matter.
Contributing factors:
Length of time pump is operated
Sand mix ratio
Granular size, type, and hardness of sand particles
Amount of force exerted in dispersing sand particles
In the following experiment, the pump
manufacturer is using a mix of only
water and sand. This is a highly
concentrated slurry mix and is
considered extremely abrasive on any equipment.
Typical sand loads used in driveway
sealer applications are quite a bit
less. It is our opinion that this
particular pump stands up to sand
erosion better than any other pump of
similar design.
How does
this particular pump stand up to sand
usage ? Click here to read a bulletin directly from the pump
manufacturer:
We have many customers that use sand in their
mix design. I don't necessarily
encourage it, but I don't necessarily
discourage it either. I would be in a
position to view sand as an abrasive
material that could reduce the life of
my equipment. However, some customers
believe that since the cost of the
equipment is relatively inexpensive,
they are willing to take that chance.
The cost of replacing the entire motor
and pump is $250. This when compared to
replacing parts on more
"industrialized equipment" is
considered very cost effective.
Sometimes, it can cost upwards of $60.00
per hour for the expertise to repair
technical equipment. This also does not usually
include the specialty replacement parts
to repair this type of industrialized
equipment.
The advantage of our economical spray
unit is in the fact that it is easy to
maintain, repair, and replace if necessary.
Customer F.A.Q. - How Long Does The
Pump Last?
We currently use this
pump on out tanker delivery truck. It
pumps coal tar sealer
"concentrate"
That is to say it is not diluted with
any water. It would not be unusual for
us to deliver 2 or 3 loads per day. Each
time sealer is delivered by our tanker,
we are pumping 4,000 gallons of product
with this pump. It takes about 45
minutes. The pump was chosen for this
spray rig design based on this
information.

Pump was eventually replaced on this tanker delivery truck after delivering an astonishing 300,000 gallons of Star Seal coal tar sealer concentrate product to our many satisfied distribution customers!
Customer F.A.Q - How Do I
Maintain This Spray Rig?
Maintenance Doesn't Get Easier Than This!
Traditional metal storage tanks accumulate sealer as it dries on the inner tank walls over time. It can be as hard as concrete. This often requires the use of air chisels, sand blasters, or dangerous chemicals to scour them clean. Our tank shown in the photograph is constructed with flexible walls that allows any built up or accumulation to simply "flex off". This reduces any accumulation that has the potential to dry on the inside tank walls.
For easy cleaning and maintenance, you should periodically circulate water for a period of time to break up any sediment that may settle over time. The pump is designed to blast and circulate 190 gallons of water per minute. You will achieve excellent cleaning results with 50-75 gallons of water. This unit circulates in a very turbulent manner breaking up any sediment similar to the cleaning action of a large dishwasher. When the cleaning cycle is complete, water and sediment should be discharged according to your local EPA regulations. This circulation action will also flush the internal pump, hoses, and spray wand accordingly. Hoses can be easily removed for replacement or seasonal storage.

Unit features spray capability with spray wand for larger jobs. Spray wand uses standard ¼ inch stainless steel spray tips and includes 50ft of quality braided 3/4 inch diameter hose. Unit incorporates both sealer filtration and agitation all in one easy to use configuration. No more mixing with messy sticks or paddles! Holds 275 gallons of sealer. Quick disconnecting hoses allows for easy maintenance, cleaning, and / or quick replacement if necessary. Nationwide availability of commonly used replacement parts assures you provide your customers with better service and you wont have to wait for days or even weeks for specialized, gear driven, or hydraulic replacement parts.
Quick disconnects allow you to simply swap out tanks on the fly!
This construction and design uses the principles of solids transfer and fluid dynamics. Since there are no internal moving parts, we eliminate any possibility of internal mechanical failure from occurring in the first place. This means you no longer need to replace difficult, hard to get to, and often expensive broken gears, chains, messy hydraulic hoses, bent agitator shafts, bent sweep agitator blades, or expensive shaft bearings.

Quickly pays for itself. $$$

PORTABLE SPRAY RIG SHOWN ON TRAILER
The unit can be permanently or temporarily mounted on a trailer, or on a pickup truck using the steel constructed forklift skid plate on the bottom of the tank. (see photographs) Total weight when full is approx. 2700 lbs. (sealer weight is approx.10 lbs. per gallon when diluted with 30% water) If you are choosing your own trailer, ensure the axle weight is within these specifications. Most quality trailers and hitches are rated at 3500 lbs.
